MISADVENTURES OF KOTHGo back to a time of gods and heroes. The Pletins are invading, and trying to conquer the planet. Can the mighty Prince Jasper stop them or will it be too late?
_____ It was night. Screams could be heard throughout the village. There were screams of pain and agony. The Pletian army had invaded. The Pletians were once was a weak empire that was on the brink of annihilation. Eventually, under the great rule of Emperor Sagnius, the Empire flourished, and was quickly taking over the world. They were being defeated in an intense war against the Koths. The Koths were a very proud race. The Koths were also very powerful warriors. It was long rumoured that one koth could destroy a large army. The Pletian General, Salen, did not believe that, and paid dearly for that mistake, often losing several men in battle with the Koths. Salen was no fool. He knew there had to be a way to defeat the Koths. He decided that he would send his army in at night, when the Koths were sleeping. He planned to kill every man, women, and child of the koths that night, and almost managed to do so. Unfortunately, for Salen, the gods were also watching the Kothic village that he was invading. It was of particular interest to Alyssa, the goddess of earth. She was so enamoured with the ways of Koth. All gods did not like Koths though. For instance, her brother, Castro, the god of war, did not like koths much. He was sickened by the act that despite having so much power, the koths chose never to invade other territories. All the koths did was live a simple life in their village. Alyssa so wanted to save the koth race. She decided to save a few of the koths from total annihilation. Unfortunately for her, Castro soon caught up with her. 'Hello there dear sister,' said he. 'Hello brother,' she said. 'Now what is a young goddess like you doing on earth on a night like this?' he asked. 'I am just out for a brisk night walk,' she said. 'Do you take me for a fool?' he said in a loud tone. 'A fool?' she questioned. 'Why would I take you for a fool?' 'The answer is easy, Alyssa, my dear,' he said. 'Answer?' she said unwittingly. 'Tonight is the night where the reigns pass from the koths to the Pletians,' he said. 'Tonight is the night the Pletians start to take over the world, and there is nothing you and your koths can do about it.' 'Well, that is nice,' she said, 'but I am not out to save any man, women, or koth tonight.' 'Fine,' he said, 'I will believe it when I see it.' He then decided to leave knowing full well that Alyssa was saving the koths, he decided that she should make her own mistakes, and learn to live with them. Alyssa's plan was to somehow save the koths, but the time it took to talk to her brother really made it hard to do that. She decided that she would save five Koth babies. She snuck around in the night, quietly picking the children out of their cribs, and she took them to a safe place on top of Mt. Cerot. She even named them. She named the males: Sade, Ignatius, Nullus, and Pyrosa, and the female: Hydrena. Alyssa started spending a lot of time up on Mt. Cerot, helping the Kothic babies with their needs, until one fateful day all changed. Originally, her plans were to raise the koths to help save the world from the Pletian army. One day though, she decided to visit the koths like she did everyday, but this time, Richelle, the goddess of the mind, followed her to Mt. Cerot. Richelle was a curious young goddess. She had always wondered why Alyssa was suddenly now spending most of her free time up on Mt. Cerot. Richelle felt that it was hardly the paradise anyone would want to spend their time. 'Hello Sade, Ignatius, Nullus, Pyrosa, Hydrena,' said Alyssa. 'How are your lovely selves today?' All of a sudden Richelle comes up from behind Alyssa. 'Hello Alyssa,' she says. Alyssa screams, and then realises that Richelle is behind her. 'Richelle!' Alyssa screamed. 'What are you doing here?!' 'I was curious to what you are doing here,' Richelle said. 'I never knew you had kids.' 'They are not mine,' says Alyssa. 'Then whose are they?' asks Richelle. 'They are Koths,' says Alyssa. 'Koths?' asks Richelle. 'I thought all Koths were killed by the Pletians.' 'I saved these five to save the world,' says Alyssa. 'Well, that is nice,' says Richelle. 'Are they going to be gods like us?' 'Not exactly,' uttered Alyssa. 'Well, why not' asks Richelle, 'I think that them being gods would help them out a lot.' 'It probably would, but I hear that if humans become gods, chaos could erupt,' said Alyssa. 'What kind of chaos could erupt when saving the world?' asks Richelle 'Hmm.. Perhaps you are right,' uttered Alyssa. The two then decided that they would help the Koths save the world by giving them special powers. Little did they know of the consequences of their action, but, nevertheless, they did it anyway. Alyssa decided to give Pyrosa the power of fire, and Hydrena, the power of water. Richelle, on the other hand, gave Ignatius the power to turn himself into anyone he wanted, Sade the power to talk to everything on earth, and Nullus, the power to know everything. Alyssa and Richelle also decided to train the Koths in the ways of Koths. They wanted to give them the best chance possible to defeat the Pletian army. Young life was rough for the koths. The koths were never really told of the powers they possessed. They pretty much had to learn about them themselves. The problem was that a few of the koths did not really like the powers they so possessed. The only koth who really knew about his power was Nullus because he knew everything. He was also the least popular of the koths. Nullus' problem was that he was automatically an expert at everything because he knew everything. Nullus pretty much took to inventing things when he was young because if it was possible, he could do it. Sade was pretty much looked upon as the insane koth because he would talk almost everything. He knew what other things, such as animals and inanimate objects, were saying, the other koths did not. He would often argue with trees and animals. The other koths just basically laughed at him. They did not understand of his rather different powers. The koths basically grew up understanding very little of the true powers they possessed. Part 2 Finally the koths were ready to leave the mountain. It took many years, but the koths had finally grown up into the fine young koths of tomorrow. They had one major problem: humans. Humans were rather new to the koths. They spent years believing that they were the only people on earth. Unfortunately, Alyssa had made a terrible mistake with the koths, as she did not introduce the koths to humankind. She was quickly beginning to believe that the plan was going to be disastrous, and that she had failed. Nevertheless, she had to try, as the Pletian army would soon have the world in their hands, and it would be too late. She decided late one day to call all the koth in, and have a little talk with them about life, as it stood, and their true mission in the world. 'Why did you bring us here?' asked Ignatius. 'Yeah, my squirrel misses me,' uttered Sade. 'Well, I wanted to tell you about life,' said Alyssa. 'What is life?' asked Pyrosa. 'Ah, yes,' said Nullus, 'you want to tell how you are not really our mother, how you saved us from the land of koth, raised us as your own, taught the ways of the koth, and now you must set us free on the unforgiving world in order to save it from the evil Pletian Empire. Am I right?' 'Basically, yes,' she said. 'Thank you,' said Nullus, as he leaves. 'Land of koth? Pletian Empire?' said Ignatius, 'it sounds like a job for the great Ignatius.' 'Wait a minute,' said Hydrena, 'so there are others like us out there.' 'Well, not exactly like you,' said Alyssa, 'but yes, there are others out there.' 'Wow,' said Sade, 'so that is what Mr. Squirrel was talking about.' 'So, what about these Pletian guys,' asked Pyrosa, 'are they dangerous?' 'Quite dangerous,' said Alyssa. 'In fact, they were the ones who killed your real parents.' 'They did?!' said Sade, 'those bastards, I will get them, and destroy them.' 'Oh, please, Sade, quite a fine show, but unfortunately you are not as smart as I,' said a returning Nullus. 'Nullus,' said Ignatius, 'what are you doing back here?' 'Simple, I heard all this bickering out here, and I became annoyed, I could not think enough to make the world's perfect sandwich,' said Nullus. 'Well,' said Hydrena, 'how are we going to defeat the Pletians?' 'They seem rather strong,' said Sade. 'Strong is but an understatement, with an army of exactly 1,000,201. They are, by far, the most dangerous army the world has ever seen,' said Nullus. The good news, we can beat them.' 'How?' asked Pyrosa. 'We are just 5 ordinary people.' 'Mother, could you please tell the unenlightened about what is really going on here?' 'Okay,' she said, 'well, it all started a few years ago. You were but babies in the land of Koth. I decided that instead of you being slaughtered, I would bring you to a safe place, train you, and make you good koths. Richelle and I also decided to give you special powers to help you defeat the Pletians.' 'Cool,' said Sade. 'We can destroy these guys, I just know it.' They spent the rest of night talking and planning their strategy for taking back the world. Little did the koths know of what an important night it was all around the world. Events were happening all the world, which would most certainly effect the koths in their journey. Part 3 One thing that the koths lacked knowledge of was the fact that they were not the last remaining koths. In fact, the young Koth Prince was still alive. His mother heard the Pletian army coming, and sneaked him out of a window just before the army came. The young prince, Jasper, did not know much of his Kothic past. In fact, up until he was 16, he thought he was a normal human. It was on a normal day as Jasper went on a bird watching expedition. He was peacefully watching a cardinal drink from a stream, when a small Pletian training force went by, and scared the bird away. All of a sudden, Jasper went into a rage, and slaughtered the entire army. Jasper then became a wanted assassin, but everyone was too afraid to arrest him. They felt he was not really a danger to anyone, unless they messed with a bird. Besides, everyone who tried to arrest him often met the same fate as the Pletian force. Before this, Jasper was well respected in the Pletian courts. He even dated Salen's daughter, Jessica. After this incident though, he was a wanted man, especially by the King Sagnius, but no man could catch him. In fact, the only ones who could even stop were the Cyrano monks, who were a small neutral fighting force, who worshipped the Cerife, a group of bird gods. In the holiest part of their city was a small, colourful bird, who Jasper had often tried to see, but was held off each time. Jasper could not stand the fact that mere mortals could defeat him, as Jasper thought he was not only a god, but also a Cerife, who was put on earth to save it. He felt there were no mere mortals who could defeat him in battle. The other event that was occurring to plague the koths was the fact that the Pletian king, Sagnius was assassinated. Sagnius did much in his empire, but he refused to invade the last three remaining empires: the Tranians, the Glish, and the Cyrano Monks. This angered Salen, as felt the Pletians should take over the whole world, not just the major parts of it. Sagnius felt that taking over these three would be more trouble than they would be worth. The Glish were just a peaceful farming community, who posed no threat to the mighty Pletians. Trying to conquer the Cyrano Monks would take many armies, considering the Cyranos had already defeated the great assassin, Jasper, as for the Tranians, they were a rebellious faction who wanted nothing to do with the Pletians. Sagnius felt that losing men in a battle over useless land would not be profitable, and rather stupid. Sadly, Salen and Nepeon, Sagnius' youngest son, felt differently. They tried in vain to convince their father that these lands are needed to establish complete Pletian dominance. Sagnius would not listen. Eventually, they felt something had to be done, so they devised an assassination plot, where, they would poison the king. It was a simple plan, and it worked like a charm. Part 4 Here we are in the king's palace. Things are not looking so good, as the entire palace is sad and filled with tears. Everyone from Prince Ranion to Princess Jenny to the lowliest servant was in mourning. Sagnius was well-loved by the world, and the future was now in the hands of Prince Ranion, who, many said, was not qualified enough to lead it. 'I cannot believe he was poisoned,' cried Jenny. 'You know, this makes a thing like my music career look rather pointless,' said Ranion. 'Why is it that you only worry about your music, Ranion, how rude!' screamed Jenny. 'Well, come on, he is dead, there is no way we can bring him back, so why try?' said Ranion. 'Bastard,' said Jenny. 'You are not even worthy to wear the crown.' All of a sudden a voice is heard. 'Oh, please, Ranion is much like his grandfather, someone who is only wearing the crown because he is there, not because he is qualified,' said the voice. 'Who dare say that about the new king?' said an angered Ranion. 'Me,' said the voice. All of a sudden out walks the great assassin, Jasper. 'What are you going about it?' he inquired. 'Sent your guards to your deaths in a pathetic way of establishing your honour?' 'You are a wanted man, Jasper, you should not even be here.' Jasper starts sarcastically clapping. 'Good job, Ranion,' he said. 'It now appears you have the guts to stand up to me. Then again, with hundreds of guards around this place, and considering you will never have to face me one-on-one. I guess I would be secure as well. Oh, the glory of being the king.' 'Guards get him!' yelled Ranion. All of a sudden, Salen enters. 'No, king, please I beg of you, do not send the guards out, as Jasper is an honoured guest of my own,' he said. 'An honoured guest,' asked Ranion, 'surely you jest.' 'No, sir, I do not jest,' said Salen. 'You see, Jasper, has many marketable skills, and it is also rather a bad idea to try to kill the last of the koths. Also, as another man of noble status, I feel we here in Pletia could welcome him back into the courts, as he is surely more useful to the Empire than as a man who is on the run from our guards.' 'Hmm...You have a good point, Salen,' said Ranion. 'One of which I must ponder, but, until then, Jasper will be treated as a noblemen, like he is.' Ranion leaves to go make his first royal decision, as Jasper decides to wander around the castle for a while. Jasper was bored. He just wandered around through the room trying to figure out why exactly he is here. Was his purpose to really kill many a man? Or is there a deeper, less obvious purpose in his life in which he is not yet aware? Nevertheless, Jasper did not have much time to think, as he ran into the last person he wanted to run into, namely Jessica, Salen's daughter, whom hates him with a passion. 'Why if it is not the world's most dangerous bird watcher,' she said. 'You know, I have no clue why the king has a torture chamber, you would think just talking to you would inflict more pain than a torture rack could ever inflict.' 'I will never understand you, Jasper, when we first met, you said I was the most beautiful site you had ever seen, and if not for that bird habit of yours, you and I could have married, and lived happily ever after.' 'You just had good timing, dear Jessica, as that beautiful site my eyes had glanced at was a lovely pair of doves. Sadly, you had to interfere with my bird habit.' 'I will just never get it, Jasper. Here you are, a fairly attractive noblemen, a man much respected and feared throughout the kingdom, and someone who can get pretty much whatever he wants, yet instead of women, or riches, you desire birds. Why?' 'Humans are quite complex and unusual creatures. I spent most of my childhood studying everyone I could meet. From such great men as Sagnius to such lowly pathetic, yes men, like Sebastian, in this court. I hate that guy.' 'What did he ever do to you, Jasper? What, did he not like one of your lovely flying creatures or something? Or is it the fact that you are jealous of his reputation?' 'Jealous? Of him? Nah. He is pathetic. I want nothing more than see him succeed. Unfortunately, he will have to do something to get it. Not just kiss up to everyone and anyone, which appears to his major liability.' 'So, he is a suck up, who is subsequently used by half the court. If it does not matter to him, what is it to you?' 'For once, you make a good point, it is his life, why should I worry about the numerous amounts of failures in this world, just once it would be nice to see him have some success though. Nah, it will never happen.' All of a sudden, Sebastian walks into the room. 'Wow. Jessica, you certainly look stunning today. And Jasper, I credit you for being allowed here in this court. You certainly deserve it.' 'Pathetic,' Jasper mumbles to himself. 'Why Sebastian, thank you so much for the lovely compliment, you do not look so bad yourself,' says Jessica almost automatically. 'Well, now, I will leave you two for a lovely round of complimenting, as for me, I have much more important matters to attend to,' says Jasper. 'He does not seem to like me,' says Sebastian. 'Trust me, the only people who he likes have feathers, yet he calls me pathetic. Anyway, I must go, ta-ta.' 'B...b..ut...' utters Sebastian, as Jessica leaves. Part 5 The other koths, on the other hand, were adjusting to everyday life rather harshly. They decided to stop at a small Pletian-occupied village, as they tried to become more in tune with the world itself. The koths had no real people skills, and sadly for them, it showed in a big way. Ignatius, Sade, and Nullus all decided to stop at the tavern to use the small amount of money that Alyssa had given to them. They decided that this would be the best place to meet people in the entire village because of the fact that it appeared to be packed. Nullus immediately ran into two guys who were having an argument about the way the world was. One believed that he was the only man that existed on this world, and that everyone else was just figments of his own imagination. The other man believed that the world was separated into different dimensions, and that in these dimensions, there is always the slightest bit of difference, and that the amount of these dimensions is countless. 'You see,' said the one guy, 'you are wrong, certainly the world could not have that many dimensions. You are a fool.' 'Oh, please, sir, you say that you are the only man who exists in this world,' said the other. 'Rubbish! I have a brain, I can think as well, you know.' 'Kind sirs,' said Nullus. 'You really should know one thing that you are both wrong!' 'Both wrong!' said the men, 'and who proclaimed you Mr. Know-It-All.' 'A goddess named Richelle. Thank you very much,' said Nullus. The men laughed. 'Look at this guy, he think he knows everything,' said one guy, 'well, gee, sir, tell me a little about me then, know-it-all.' 'Well, then,' said Nullus, 'your name is Peter John Plantuck, your age is 25, your birthday was July 1, in the small town of Centerbury Cliffs. Your weight is a slim 204 lbs, and your height is 6'1'.' 'Not bad,' said the other man, but what about me, who am I?' 'Child's play,' said Nullus. 'You are Euthorus Ravelli. Your birthday is September 20, and you were born in Lowland Hills. You do not know who your father is because your mother was a prostitute. You may not know who, but I certainly do.' 'Who is it?' he asked. 'A man of high standing, in fact, the head general of the Pletian army himself, Salen.' 'Salen? I do not believe you.' '9 months before you were born Salen and his army were invading Lowland Hills, he had planned to kill your mother, she decided to convince him otherwise, and boom, boom, boom, 9 months later there you were.' 'I never thought of that,' said Euthorus. 'You know, you are pretty smart, how about we debate a few.' 'Sounds good to me,' said Nullus. Unfortunately for Ignatius and Sade, they were not having as much luck with locals as their friend, Nullus, was. Ignatius was trying to boast about how great he was, and his powers, but no one was really listening. In fact, they wanted Ignatius to pipe down, and basically considered him an annoyance. He was mad, but could do nothing to change things at the time. Sade's problem was that he was considered insane. He had a lot of friends, but, do tables and chairs really count? 'Poor, poor chair. I know it must really suck to have people sitting you on you all day,' he said. 'You know, I will just never understand the world, why do they use such a wonderful chair for the purposes of sitting down. Do they not known that it hurts the chair?' Suddenly, a girl who works at the tavern comes up to him. 'Are you quite all right, sir?' she asks. 'Me? I am fine,' replies Sade. 'Well, I see you here talking to this chair, so I will admit to being kind of worried,' she said. 'Well, yes, I do not get along with others well, but squirrels and chairs are so nice.' 'Well, I have never talked to one, but I will take your word for it. So, what is your name?' 'Name? Sade, I guess.' 'Nice to meet you, Sade. My name is Kelly. You know, I will have to get a drink or something. We have this new drink in from the East. It is quite an energy booster they say, some people are afraid to try it.' 'What the hey, I will try it, I fear nothing.' Kelly goes to get Sade his drink, as Sade sits there trying to figure the meaning of life. Shortly afterwards, Kelly returns. 'Here you go,' she says. Sade drinks the down quite quickly. He looks around, and then smiles. 'Wow! Now that was a drink,' he says. 'That good?' 'Thank you, Kelly, now I feel energized, I feel I can take on the whole world, instead of sitting here talking to a chair.' Sade then gets up, and walks out of the tavern cheering, as Kelly worries about what effects the drink may have had on Sade's mental state. Ignatius notices Sade, and buries his head in his hands for a minute, as he now knows he has to find Sade before Sade does something stupid. Meanwhile, Nullus is paying no attention, and seems quite at home debating his new found friends. Ignatius decides to give chase to Sade. Luckily, for the village, and for Ignatius, Sade promptly ran into Hydrena and Pyrosa, who will quietly walking around the town viewing the lovely scenery. 'Ahhhhh...mannnn, do I feel good,' said Sade. 'What happened to you?' asked Hydrena. 'Iiii drank this reallyyy coollll drink, and now I feel like taking the world. Whooo!' said Sade. 'Well, what should we do about this?' asks Pyrosa. 'Hmm...Good question,' uttered Hydrena, 'Sade appears to be a bit jumpy.' Suddenly Ignatius runs to the trio. 'Ugh. Some girl at the tavern gave Sade a hyper drink from the East, now Sade has gone nuttier than he was before,' he said. All of a sudden, Sade sees a cat stuck up in a tree, and a girl trying to get the cat down from the tree. 'Need help?' asks Sade. 'Yes, well, my cat is stuck in the tree, could you please get him, sir?' she asks. 'Easily,' says Sade. Sade rockets up the tree, and easily saves the cat from the tree. 'Wow!' she says, 'I have never seen anyone climb a tree that fast in my life.' 'All in a day's work for a koth,' he says. 'Koths? All of those were destroyed about 20 years ago, silly, but thank you for saving my cat.' 'Glad to help.' Pyrosa, Hydrena, and Ignatius are amazed at Sade's sudden super power. 'How did you do that?' asks Ignatius. 'It must be this drink, I feel energized,' he says. 'We really should go to the tavern and see what is in that drink,' says Hydrena. 'Good idea,' says Pyrosa. The foursome re-enter the tavern, and confront Kelly. 'Pardon, madam, what is in that drink that you served my friend here?' asks Pyrosa. 'Oh, it was just Eastern herbs,' she says, 'according to legend, the god of war gave these herbs magical powers when he was feuding with koths. Supposedly, they make one more powerful than a koth.' 'Interesting,' said Hydrena, 'well it made my friend here superhuman.' 'It did not have that effect on the others I served it to, in fact, it made most people deathly ill. Apparently, the world was not meant to be a koth. Even though, there is one more koth left.' 'One more koth?' inquires Hydrena. 'Yes, a young man named Jasper, he was hired by Pletian army to be an assassin,' she says, 'actually, he is a nice guy to bird lovers, he does not get along well with much other people.' All of a sudden, Rosco, the man who runs the tavern confronts Kelly. 'Kelly,' says Rosco. 'Yes, Rosco?' she says. 'I heard a rumour that you served someone Castro's brew,' he says. 'Yes, so I did.' 'You do know that Castro's brew is lethal and devastating to anyone who drinks it.' 'Pardon me, sir, but I drank it, and I am fine,' says Sade. All of a sudden, Sade looks at a chair. 'What? You stupid chair, never insult me, I am powerful than you, you know.' 'You see now, Kelly,' says Rosco, 'this poor man is talking to a chair.' 'It is really quite normal for him,' says Ignatius. 'He talks to chairs all the time.' 'Like you really expect me to believe that,' says Rosco, 'just look at this man, he is not normal.' Sade is currently try to destroy the chair for insulting him. 'Kelly, you are fired, and, since you so love Castro's brew so much, you can have my whole store of it,' says Rosco. 'Thank you, sir, I think,' says Kelly. Rosco leaves to tend to his store, as Kelly starts crying. 'Do not cry, Kelly,' says Pyrosa. 'But I lost my job,' she says. 'Well, it could be worse,' says Pyrosa. 'How so?' she asks. 'Well, you could be trying to defeat an entire Pletian army by your lonesome, or in a battle with a huge cyclops.' 'True.' 'Well, we are sorry for costing you your job, Kelly,' says Sade. 'You seem so nice is there any way we can help you.' 'Not quite sure,' she says. 'By the way, what exactly do you guys do?' 'We are superheroes, ma'am,' says Ignatius. 'Superheroes? What are you saving the world from?' 'That evil Pletian Empire,' says Ignatius. 'Well, how interesting,' says Kelly. 'If you like, we would love for you to travel with us,' says Sade. 'Really? Well, I guess so, I really have nothing here,' she says. Kelly leaves with the koths, as they decide to embark on a wondrous journey together to discover many distant lands along the way. 'So, what do you guys do, exactly,' asks Kelly. 'We are koths,' said Sade. 'Oh, come on, the Pletians killed all the koths a few years ago, before I was even born, but there are no koths,' she said. 'We are koths, we were saved by Alyssa and Richelle, you know, the goddesses,' said Ignatius. 'Well, it does sounds like something they would do, but the gods are quickly turning against the people,' said Kelly. 'People are very nice, why would the gods think of turning against them?' asks Hydrena. 'Well, the gods favour the Pletians, and the Pletians are under the protection of Castro and Richelle's evil twin, Crandell,' said Kelly. 'Surely, you guys have some gods on your side,' said Pyrosa. 'Well, Alyssa and Richelle, the rest of the gods are currently picking sides in the whole thing,' said Kelly. 'Well, surely, there must be something we can do,' said Sade. 'Not really, plain and simple, Pletia will rule the world, the only thing stopping was good king, Sagnius, but he has died,' uttered Kelly. 'Who rules now?' inquires Ignatius. 'King Ranion, who is a fool of a king, of course, there is Jenny and Nepeon, but I doubt they would be much better,' she said. 'Why not?' 'Jenny is a top tennis player, and very beautiful, but a Queen? Nah. And all Nepeon wants is the world.' 'Well, there has to be a way to stop them.' 'Not so. You would have to get through their soldiers first, and that is hard enough.' 'We can do it!' Screamed the Koths. Meanwhile, in the background, the evil goddess Crandell was listening in the background. What complete fools they are. Do they really think they can defeat the entire Pletian army? Hahahaha. There is not a man out there who can defeat Jasper. He is true koth of it all. Those fools will not even get past Ranion, and that is truly sad. Hahaha. It will truly be a night to remember when these guys come to Pletia demanding to see the king. They even forgot Nullus, and they still have not figured it out. Tsk. Tsk..Koths...will you ever learn?' Part 6 It is again the Palace of Pletia, King Ranion has finally decided to make his decision on whether Jasper should stay or not. He also made a decision that the palace should not mourn the death of good king Sagnius for he believed that Pletians everywhere should forget the past, and focus on the future. Unfortunately, neither decision will be too popular. 'I have come to the decision that Mr. Jasper shall be able to stay in the palace, as I, in all my infinite wisdom, have decided to take in account he is, in fact, a noble, and is a man who means no harm, so I have decided that he shall stay,' said Ranion. 'Argh! You are really a putz, Ranion!' screamed Jenny. 'Dear sister, what do you mean by that?' 'Taking away the mourning period. Keeping an assassin court. Are you nuts?' 'I believe that the people should look ahead towards the future, not dote upon the past accomplishments of a dead king. As for Jasper, he is a highly respected man. Now pardon me, I have to practice the flute.' 'We cannot be related, it is just not possible.' Nepeon enters the room along with Jessica. 'Now, dear sister, father was very old, and needed to pass the torch for several years,' said Nepeon. 'Oh, please, you probably were the one who poisoned father,' said Jenny. 'Me?! Why, madame, thank you for the glorious compliment, but certainly I would not poison the man to gain my own power, then again, why defend him, all we were to father was pawns to be used in political alliances. Just like his plan to marry you off to the young Prince of the Koths. Too bad Salen killed the Koths off, as you and the Prince would have made such a lovely couple.' 'Koth Prince? King Lemnius and Queen Delphina had a son? What was his name?' 'Jasper.' 'Jasper, as in the evil assassin, Jasper?' 'Precisely. You see, Jasper could have been done for, but his father sent him off with one of the King's concubines. Then the army burst in, killed Lemnius, and made Delphina one of our King's concubines for she can raise a Koth army for Pletia.' 'Koth army? Why?' 'Simple, father knew the power of the koths, and knew that if he had the most powerful Koth woman at his disposal, he could create his own koth. Sadly, the experiment was a terrible failure, as the only koth ever produced went to join the Cyrano Monks.' 'The monks? Is that why they are the only force that could ever defeat Jasper?' 'Exactly, dear sister. Finally, you gained a clue.' 'Sorry to interrupt,' said Jessica, 'but Jasper was a Kothic Prince. I could have had a Kothic Prince. Dammit!' 'Now, now' said Nepeon, 'you can have me.' 'Hahahahaha. Look at you, you are 3rd in line for the Pletian throne, and you are not even 5 foot five inches tall, why would I want that?' 'Argh. One day, I shall rule all Pletia, just see what you will say then.' 'Sure. I am sure the people would really approve of that.' 'The people are sheep, they would surely not revolt against their future king.' 'Future king? Nepeon you are truly much more a fool than I thought you were.' All of a sudden, Nepeon's advisor, Dunkopf, enters. 'Oh, please, Jessica, Nepeon is very qualified to become king. In fact, more qualified than any in the royal family,' said Dunkopf. 'Even more qualified then me,' asked Jenny. 'Nepeon is Pletia,' said Dunkopf. 'You know, Dunkopf, you are lucky you are such a suck up to Nepeon, if not you be next in line for the guillotine,' said Jessica. 'That fool, Ranion, killing anyone?' inquired Nepeon. 'Surely you jest.' 'Ranion is not as incompetent as everyone says he is,' says Jessica. 'Is he?' 'Well, he is a heartless jerk, but he seems to have some competence,' says Jenny. Jasper and Salen then enter the room as they discuss world invasion. 'Speaking of heartless jerks,' says Jenny. 'If not for me, Jenny, my dear, you would be spending all your days playing on the tennis courts, not caring about the world,' said Salen. 'Please, spare me your arrogance,' said Jenny. 'So, how is the plan going?' asked Nepeon. 'Perfectly,' said Jasper. 'Finally, it appears, I will finally be allowed my birthright.' 'How could seeing a bird be someone's birthright?' said Jessica. 'Birds are beautiful, birds are lovely, unlike you, my dear,' said Jasper. 'Well, they are considering less annoying than you, I will give them that,' replies Jessica. A messenger runs enters. 'Salen!' he screams. 'What is it sir?' asks Salen. 'Our men have been attacked,' he says. 'Who would dare be stupid enough to attack us?' ask Salen. 'According to reports, men who threw fire, could control the streams, turned into many men, and could talk to all the animals of the world,' said the messenger. 'By the gods,' said Salen. 'Why is this curse put upon us?' 'I am not sure, sir, they defeated an army of 10,000,' he said. 'This is not good, Nepeon, Dunkopf, we must consult Castro,' said Salen. Nepeon, Dunkopf, the Messenger, Jenny, Jessica, and Salen all exit. Jasper stays behind laughing at the trio who is running around like chickens with their heads cut off over one battle. 'Fools!' said Jasper. 'They are just blowing things out of proportion, surely no one could be that strong. At least not anyone on the opposing side.' The evil goddess, Crandell, appears behind Jasper. 'I sense a foreign presence in this place, I sense the presence of a goddess, behind me,' said Jasper. 'There is no sneaking up behind you,' said Crandell. 'Of course not, I have been trained to detest even the slightest change in the air,' said Jasper. 'You are truly a Pletian asset, Lord Jasper,' said Crandell. 'An asset these fools will need in the coming days.' 'Surely you jest,' said Jasper. 'These humans are foolish. They are weak. You should know that.' 'Of course, but they are the most powerful humans on the earth.' 'Yes, but they are only human, and are of no match for the gods' attack.' 'The gods want to destroy Pletia?' 'Not exactly, but the future looks bleak for all Pletia.' 'Why, Crandell?' 'Because of my foolish twin and that moronic Alyssa.' 'What did they do?' 'They turned koths into gods.' 'Koths into gods? Surely that cannot be true. No koths exist.' 'Poor naive Jasper, there are still 7 koths on this world.' '7 koths? Who? Where? Huh?' 'Jasper, my darling Jasper. Pletia has one of its own koths. And he should have no problem taking out the other koths.' 'Right. He should not have any problem destroying those koths. Especially with my help.' 'Jasper, what you fail to realize is that you are the koth.' 'Me? A koth? No way!' 'Trust me, Jasper, you are.' All of a sudden, Castro appears. 'Castro, what a lovely surprise,' says Crandell. 'Now, Crandell, you know nothing a human could make could kill a god,' says Castro. 'Why of course,' says Crandell. 'So, why is that you tell this soldier to go out and fight the godlike koths, when he has no real chance,' says Castro. 'Good point, but what do you suggest?' 'Simple, chaos only erupts if gods give humans godly powers,' said Castro, 'so instead, how about we only help Jasper become a god?' 'How?' 'Oops.' Castro accidentally drops some of the fruit of the gods in front of Jasper, who eats the fruit, and, all of a sudden, transforms into a more powerful being. 'Interesting,' utters Jasper. 'You have now been given a very power that can defeat the koths, and also a sword that is powerful enough to kill the gods,' says Castro. 'I like it,' says Jasper. Jessica then enters in her bedclothes. 'Uh oh, we have to fly' says Castro. 'Until later, Jasper..' says Crandell. They vanish. 'Jasper, it is 1 o'clock in the morning, there are no birds out this late,' says Jessica. 'I know that,' says Jasper. Jessica looks at Jasper's face. She seems rather shocked by how it looks. 'Jasper, you look very ill. You should rest.' 'Rest? What is that?' 'You know, like sleep.' 'Yeah. Yeah.' 'In fact, you can sleep in my room with me.' 'Oh no.' 'Come on, Jasper, I will show you that I am important.' 'You are a stunningly beautiful women. Why in the world do you want me?' 'Oh, come on.' Jasper and Jessica go to bed together despite Jasper fighting every step of it, as Crandell and Castro talk. 'You know, I really like this Jasper guy,' says Castro. 'Really,' asked Crandell. 'Of course, I credit any man who can consisting try to avoid a beautiful girl. Too bad more gods cannot be like that.' 'Now, come on, Castro, would life be as fun if we were not meddling in the lives of humans?' 'No, it would not. Good point.' Night settles in, as the gods once again vanish. Part 7 The Tranians, the Glish, and Cyrano Monks all know that a Pletian invasion is coming very soon. It is night, and, as usual, the kingdoms have their night watchmen out to make sure an invasion does not occur. They only have three men out on this chilly night. They are three young soldiers, who are also very good friends. They also recently joined the army. The youngest, Mercury is kind of a goofball. He is often seen doing rather strange things in attempts to get attention. Mercury was never that popular. His best friends were often called Mr. Chair, Mr. Table, and Mr. Wine Glass. One day, he somehow stumbled into getting a girlfriend, Stacey. Stacey was first impressed by Mercury's flattery, and quickly annoyed by Mercury's insane ambition, and one of his only friends, Ajax, who was often critical of Stacey(And half of the world for that matter.) for just about everything for that matter. After Stacey dumped Mercury for a Pletian soldier, Mercury decided to join the Glish military to impress Stacey, and to prove himself right, and become the great hero of the Glish, and not only defeat the evil Jasper, but also be the man who will bring down the powerful Pletian empire. Mercury's friend, Ajax, also decided to join the army. Ajax was a former Pletian, who was thrown out of Pletia when he gained too many enemies. He is not very well liked by anyone. The only person who he does not have anything against is Mercury. He is always honest about how he feels about people, and is a constant enemy of the people all the world. He is an expert soldier though. He needs to be, considering how many people want to assassinate him. The third person is Chafford. Chafford was one of Mercury's father's servants. He was forced to go into the military to watch Mercury, as Mercury's father was a very rich man, and was the leader of the Glish, and he did not want his son to do anything too stupid. Chafford wants nothing of the military, but, is very loyal to Mercury's father, and would help in any way possible. 'Yes. I can see it now,' utters Mercury, 'That Jasper guy versus moi in a duel, and the great hero, Mercury, defeating him.' 'I am with you and all Mercury, but I still cannot believe you are doing all this for that strumpet you used to call a girlfriend,' said Ajax. 'Stacey was a very girl, and one who was very nice to me,' said Mercury. 'She was a fishmonger, a whore, heck that girl would sleep with anything, well, except you,' said Ajax. 'Sheesh, Ajax, you do not like her much,' said Chafford. 'And why should I?' asked Ajax. 'She broke up with Mercury with talking about how it is not you, it is me, and let us just be friends. At least have the common decency to be honest, like I always was when I broke up with my ex-girlfriends.' 'Yeah. Sure you were,' said Chafford. 'I was,' said Ajax. 'Feelings do not matter to me.' 'Have you ever cared about anyone,' asked Mercury. 'No,' said Ajax. 'Why should I?' 'You are a bitter man,' said Chafford. 'I cannot wait to get my hands on the those overweight, lazy hogs in the Pletian army,' said Ajax. 'I will destroy them slowly.' Chafford all of a sudden looks out, and sees about ten people walking up to the camp. 'Umm....People,' he yells. 'People....where?" inquires Mercury. 'Right there, they look Pletian soldiers to me,' said Ajax. 'They appear unarmed,' said Mercury 'Perhaps they are spies,' said Ajax. 'Yeah,' said Chafford. 'Screw this, I am going down there.' said Ajax. Mercury rings the bell to wake the townspeople. 'Alright, who goes there?' said Ajax. 'Koths,' said one of the people. 'Koths, ha, you expect me to believe that,' said Ajax. 'Heck, you seem bigger, and stupider than any koth I have ever seen pal, now shove off.' 'That tree does not like your attitude,' said Sade. 'Listen pal,' said Ajax, 'if you expect me to believe that this big, ugly hates my attitude. You have another thing coming.' Ajax goes up to the tree. 'Hey, tree,' he said, 'you have a problem with me. What are you going to do? Fall on me?' All of a sudden a large branch falls off the tree and onto Ajax knocking him unconscious. 'I tried to warn him' said Sade. Suddenly several Cyrano monks come out, including their leader, Lucien, who is also a koth. 'Alright, you guys are in for it,' said Lucien 'We really mean you no harm,' said Kelly. 'We are koths trying to help you,' said Ignatius. 'Do you take me for a fool?' asks Lucien. 'Only two koths exist in this world, Jasper and myself.' 'We really do not mean to harm you, kind sir,' said Sade. 'Prepare for battle, Pletians!' screamed Lucien. 'I am not a Pletian,' said Ignatius. Suddenly a voice can be heard screaming. 'Wait a minute, captain, these men really do mean you no harm,' the voice said. 'Nullus the prophet?' said Lucien. 'Yes, sir,' said Nullus, 'they are who they say they are.' 'We shall trust you, Nullus,' said Lucien. 'You have yet to be wrong.' 'How did he get here before us,' asked Sade. 'Simple, Sade, I know everything,' said Nullus, 'so, of course, I knew the shortest possible route here.' 'Ass,' utters Ignatius to himself. 'So, Nullus, when is the Pletian invasion coming,' asked Lucien. 'Soon, sir, very soon,' he said. 'Several heroes will be made in battle, and several heroes shall fall as well.' 'A changing of the guard,' asked Lucien. 'Yes, no longer shall the world be under the devious hand of imperialism, as the Pletians shall soon fall from the inside,' said Nullus. 'Profound' said Euthorus. 'He is truly the wisest one' said Peter. 'Come now, men, we must sleep,' said Nullus. 'Yes,' said Lucien. ‘For a rested soldier is an effective soldier.' 'Righto,' said Nullus. They band helps up Ajax, and goes back to their towns, as the rest for the night. Part 8 A few days have past, since that last event. The Pletians are now in position to invade, but the ever-arrogant Jasper has decided to make a challenge to start off the battle. 'Friends, Glish, Cyranos, and Tranians,' he said, 'I issue a challenge, as we all know, you have no chance against the mighty Pletian empire, but I want a duel, one-on-one, against any one of you to start this mighty battle. Your greatest soldier versus our greatest soldier in a fight. I know that all of you are not heroic enough to come out and face the great Jasper, and I cannot be beaten in a one-on-one contest. So, come on, bring out your greatest soldier.' Mercury being the fearless warrior that he is, decides that he is the one who shall challenge Jasper, as no one else is willing to face him. As he is about to come up front, a beautiful woman meets him. 'Excuse me, madam,' said Mercury, 'ladies first.' 'Why thank you, kind sir.' she said. 'You hardly seem like a rude and rough soldier,' she said. 'Well, frankly, madam, I just started in the army three days ago.' 'Ah, why is that?' 'Because I wanted to prove that I was not just a letting off hot air to my ex-girlfriend, who dumped me for a soldier.' 'Poor guy. Well, surely there are several other women out there who would love you even more than she ever could.' 'No madam. Women do not like me. I try to be a nice guy, but nothing ever goes as planned.' 'Well, you sure seem nice. Here take this sword.' She gives him an expensive sword. 'I cannot madam. This sword is too nice.' 'Take it, I have plenty. Besides, you do not really think you could beat the greatest warrior of them all without a sword.' 'Good point.' Mercury then continued on his journey. 'Mercury, this is suicide,' said Chafford, 'I cannot let you do this. At least, wear armour or something. All you have is a sword.' 'Heroes do not need armour, Chafford,' said Mercury. Mercury knocked Chafford out of his way, and went onto the battle. "I see you are cowards,' said Jasper, 'All cowards! Is there not one man in your army with the guts to face me?' 'Right here,' said Mercury. 'Truly you are insane, sir,' said Jasper. 'You are facing the feared assassin, Jasper, wearing no armour. You must be confident or stupid. I say, stupid.' 'Come on,' said Mercury. They duelled for several minutes. Much to Jasper's dismay Mercury never flinched. He kept on fighting. Nothing Jasper could do could stop Mercury. Jasper quickly became frustrated, and was trying desperation to defeat Mercury, and then Mercury's sword pierced Jasper's hand. 'Owwwwwwwwwwwwwww!' screamed Jasper. Mercury struck again, hitting Jasper in the shoulder. 'This cannot be,' said Jasper in severe pain. Jasper runs off, and is in too sever of pain to fight. 'That sword must be glanite. Only that could harm a Cerife, yeah that is it,' said Jasper trying to cover up that he is really a god.' Mercury faints, as Jasper goes back to his camp embarrassed. The Glish forces take Mercury back, as the army cheers for him all the way. 'You are a hero, Mercury,' said Lucien. 'I am?' wondered Mercury. 'Mercury, you did it, man, you beat that egotistical fool Jasper all by your lonesome,' said Ajax. 'Everyone wants to be like Mercury,' said Chafford. 'We want to be heroes!' 'Mercury, you fighting skills amaze even me,' said Nullus, 'but, I warn you, Jasper is stronger than before, and could defeat almost anyone in this army at any time.' 'Why do you say that,' said Lucien. 'Simple,' said Nullus, 'this sword was made by not by human hands, but by those of a god. It surely put the god Jasper in great pain, but it is the only thing we have that could ever defeat him.' 'Then that women,' said Mercury. 'Why did she help me?' 'What women?' asked Lucien. 'You know, the one who gave me the sword,' he said. 'Well, Kelly, was here the whole time, and, otherwise, there are not many women in the camp,' said Lucien. 'I know who it is, but I have sworn not to say,' said Nullus. 'Well, I sure thank her,' said Mercury. Meanwhile, the other camp was not so happy. As a matter of fact, Nepeon and Salen were furious at Jasper, and the army was on the brink of desertion. 'Why did you do this, Jasper,' said Salen, 'I thought you were unbeatable.' "Jasper, you fool, you are a terrible swordfighter, and you know what, I shall not wait for you to fight, I shall finish you myself,' said Nepeon. Nepeon charges at Jasper with his sword, but Jasper ducks, and quickly puts his knife through Nepeon. 'Oh, I am slain,' said Nepeon, as he falls to the ground. 'How creative,' said Jasper. Suddenly the love struck Jessica enters. 'Oh, father, did you see him?' she said, 'Did you?' 'What?' said Salen. 'That young Glish soldier. He was soooo brave, soooo heroic, and sooooooo much better than Jasper.' 'He was just lucky,' said Salen. 'Oh father, I so wish I could marry him,' said Jessica. 'I forbid it,' said Salen. 'You can have any Pletian soldier as your husband, including Jasper.' 'I am not in this army!' screams Jasper. 'After that loss, Jasper, please,' said Salen, 'I know you do not want to marry my daughter, but after that shame out there, that would certainly be the proper punishment.' 'Who wants Jasper.' said Jessica, 'when I can have that Glish soldier, I love him sooooooo much.' 'Why could I not have had a son?' says Salen. 'Bad luck,' said Jasper. 'Up until a few seconds ago,' says Salen, 'you were the son I always wanted. Yet, now, if you were my son, you would be disowned.' Humiliated, Jasper leaves the tent. Castro and Crandell appear next to him. 'Why did I lose?' asked Jasper. 'What happened?' 'You never lost that battle, you had no chance from the start,' said Crandell. 'I thought I was a great fighter,' said Jasper. 'You are,' said Castro, 'but Mercury, much like you fights with passion, but unlike you, cannot get any girl he wants, which caused my sister, Aimee, to have a soft spot for him. 'Aimee?' said Jasper, 'The goddess of love?' 'Yes, and, unfortunately, you lost your passion, but Mercury gained his passion in that battle.' 'Passion?' 'You fight for the birds, Jasper, every battle you ever had was for your feathered friends. You are a hero to a bunch of feathered fiends." 'They are not fiends,' said Jasper. 'Or at least they are better than humans.' 'Humans are fools,' said Crandell, 'but they are fun to manipulate.' 'Well, Jasper, tomorrow shall be the finest hour of the Pletian Empire,' said Castro, 'I assure that.' 'Screw the Pletians,' said Jasper. 'All I want is to see that bird.' 'And so you shall,' said Crandell. 'Good,' said Castro. Sebastian suddenly comes up to Jasper. 'Who are you talking to?' asked Sebastian. 'None of your business,' said Jasper. 'So, I hear that Jessica no longer like you, maybe, just maybe, she will like me,' said Sebastian. 'Yeah, sure,' said Jasper. 'Ah, her beauty is unmatched by any mortal women,' said Sebastian. 'How I love her so.' 'Sad,' said Jasper, 'just sad. "And I must admit,' said Sebastian, 'good battle earlier.' 'Hey, I was not myself,' said Jasper, 'it will never happen.' 'You are now the courts walking joke,' said Sebastian. 'This is so cool.' 'Suck up,' said Jasper. Sebastian walks over to Jessica. 'Your beauty is just so perfect,' said Sebastian, 'even in the heat of battle, you radiance is just true perfection.' 'Why thank you, Sebastian,' said Jessica. 'You sure know how to compliment a girl.' 'Thank you, thank you,' said Sebastian, 'that means so much.' 'Such a nice guy,' said Jessica. 'Why are you not more like that, Jasper?' 'Oh, I have a sense of shame, perhaps,' said Jasper. 'Why I ever threw myself at you so much is beyond me,' said Jessica. 'I still say you were blocking my view of those doves,' Jasper said, 'Truly a beautiful, beautiful site.' 'Why must you be so different?' said Jessica. 'Because I love birds,' he said. 'You will never know what you missed,' said Jessica. She kisses him, and then walks away, as Jasper smiles. 'Thankfully, yes, I will know what I missed,' he said. Part 9 It is the day of the attack. This will be the decisive battle between the two sides. Pletia can rule the world on this day, but, to do it, they have to go through a tough contest. It is will not be easy. "I give ye the proper chance, surrender now or prepare to fight!' screams Salen. 'We shant give up,' yells Lucien. 'Okay, men, fight!!!!' The battle is fast and furious. Many men are dying, and fast. Like a madman, Jasper is trying to make his way to the bird that he was never allowed to see. He wants to see the bird, as he believes it will be true ecstasy. A few brave soldiers are trying to stand in his way, and are getting mowed down in the process. Nullus tries to fight Jasper, as Jasper is not happy. 'Out of my way!' screams Jasper. 'Oh no!' says Nullus, 'I shant let you see this bird.' 'Then you shall fight!' They duel. It is a furious fight. They clang swords like experts, but Jasper was able to get the first cut in to Nullus' stomach. Nullus valiantly fights on, but becomes weak by the injury, allowing Jasper to gain the victory. Sade and Kelly rush over to their fallen friend. 'I knew that was going to happen,' said Nullus. 'Are you alright?' said Sade. 'No,' said Nullus. 'Poor Nullus,' said Kelly. 'We barely knew one another.' 'I know,' he said. 'But it was meant to happen, just, destroy the Pletians.' 'Okay' said Sade. 'That bastard,' said Kelly. 'Oh, Jasper will get his,' said Sade, 'that bird hates his guts.' 'Can you really take to animals and stuff,' said Kelly. 'Of course,' said Sade. 'Nice talent,' said Kelly. 'Sorry I cost you your job,' said Sade. 'It is okay,' she said. 'I am just happy to meet you guys.' 'Thank you,' said Sade. Pyrosa is finally learning that he kind of like fire, as he is throwing fireballs at the Pletian troops, causing them to go into disarray. 'Cool,' said Pyrosa. 'No,' said Hydrena, 'that was hot, this is cool.' Suddenly Hydrena causes an ice storm on some of the troops, causing them to flee. 'That was kind of cool,' said Pyrosa. Meanwhile, Peter and Euthorus are fighting off soldiers. 'Now remember,' said Euthorus, 'none of this exists. This sword is not real. My body is not real. I am just seeing all this.' He keeps fighting off soldiers with amazing intensity. 'Good job,' said Peter. 'Just remember, everything is fake, it is all one big dream,' said Euthorus. The Dream Warriors start fighting off the massive attack of soldiers. Lucien and Ignatius are teaming up on some more of the soldiers. "So, you are a koth, huh?' said Ignatius. 'Yes,' said Lucien, 'my father was the former Pletian king.' 'Intriguing,' said Ignatius. 'This is easy,' said Lucien. 'Too easy,' said Ignatius. 'Hey, is that Jasper going up to the tower?' said Lucien. 'Yeah, it is.' said Ignatius, 'I want a piece of that guy.' 'Same here,' said Lucien. 'Let us go get him.' Sebastian has changed drastically since being in the heat of battle. He is hardly the kind, nice guy he was before. He has just defeated Chafford. He then sees Jessica. 'Dearest Jessica,' he said, 'what are you doing here?' 'I thought I would try to find the man who was fighting Jasper,' she said. 'Him?' said Sebastian. 'He is but a fool. I could destroy him. You should love me darling, not him.' 'No,' she said. 'Well, it is not like you have much of a choice.' He then tries to grab Jessica. She tries to escape, then Mercury jumps out from behind a wall. "Unhand that fair, and very beautiful girl,' said Mercury. "She is mine,' said Sebastian. 'Wait a minute, you are the new hero over here. By all means, come get her.' They duel, but it is a no contest, as the passionate Mercury easily subdues Sebastian. Jessica then runs over to Mercury very happy. 'You saved me,' she said. 'Glad to help,' said Mercury. 'You are a true hero,' she said. 'Me?' said Mercury, 'A hero?' 'Of course,' she said, 'You defeated Jasper, saved me from Sebastian, and now I am all yours.' 'Uhh.....you mean like my girlfriend?' said Mercury. 'Yes, for now, but hopefully more than that, very, very soon,' she said. 'More than that, very, very soon?' Mercury says. Mercury faints. "A hero with a kind heart towards others, just what this world needs,' said Jessica. 'He is everything Jasper should of been.' Mercury kind of gets up, and then sees Chafford. 'Oh my.....' said Mercury. 'Not Chafford!' 'He did all he could,' she said. 'I wonder if Ajax is okay,' said Mercury. Suddenly a loud can be heard. 'That's right, pal, I never liked you when I was in Pletian army. Hey man! You were one of those morons who wanted me exiled! Listen up tubby, you think you are bad? I will show what bad is, pal!' 'Well, Ajax is fine,' said Mercury. 'I think I will certainly have to get to know you better.' 'Most certainly,' said Jessica. 'So......' said Mercury. The two started to get to talk, despite the fact that a battle was raging. Jasper has finally reached the tower of the Cerife. Following close by are several soldiers, Salen, Ignatius, Lucien, Sade, and Kelly. 'Finally, I get to face the ingrate who decided that he was too good for war,' said Salen. 'Hey, the Cyranos have taught me respect for my fellow man, which is more than you know, you power hungry creep. The two draws their swords, and the duel commences up the stairs. The two quickly reach the top where Jasper has seen the most beautiful site there is. The bird he always wanted to see. Salen is displeased. 'Oh, forget that stupid bird!' he screams. He throws a knife at the bird, it strikes the bird. 'No!!!!!!!!!' said Jasper. 'You bastard!!!! You killed a bird!!!!!!!' He knocks Lucien out of the way. 'One side!' said Jasper. 'Oh, this is not going to be pretty,' Lucien tells Ignatius. 'I am just sitting back, and enjoying the show,' said Ignatius. Jasper takes his sword, and quickly hacks Salen apart. Salen tried to defend himself, but Jasper was a madman. 'Screw your army!' said Jasper. Jasper then puts his sword down, and preceded to jump out the window. He landed wrong, thus knocking himself senseless. 'The birds, the birds!' said Jasper. 'We failed,' said Crandell. 'I hope you are happy Jasper,' said Castro. 'Why should I not be?' said Jasper, 'Jessica is off my back. Salen is dead. Nepeon is dead. Ranion will quickly be overthrow, causing Jenny to rule Pletia, or what is left of it. As for me, I am going to enjoy a kind walk through the forest, seeing the only things I even trusted. My birds!' 'Damn humans,' said Castro. 'Damn Jasper,' said Crandell, 'I thought he was smarter.' 'And he is a god now,' said Castro. 'Liana is not going to be pleased.' said Crandell. 'Why not?' said Castro. 'At least, the birds will have safe haven.' "Too true,' said Crandell. 'The Koths are happy. Kelly is happy. Mercury is happy. Jasper is happy. Jessica is happy. Everybody is happy. How I hate happy endings!' |
